BT&C Cut Boat Nails

Boat nails are widely used for wooden boat construction. Boat nails like these are also often used to face-nail floors. We don’t exactly know why these cut nails are called “Boat Nails” but a possible reason is that unlike a regular cut nail these nails have a swelling in the middle, like a canoe, which gets buried in the wood and gives additional strength against pullout.
