The Festool ETS EC 5″ brushless motor sanders are the ultimate light weight sander built to meet the demands of a production environment. The EC TEC Brushless motor has an electronic vibration control system that eliminates vibrations before they start, and carbide tipped pad brake that stops the pad almost instantly prevent workpiece marring. The 400 watt 3.3 amp motor drives the 5″ sanding pad at an adjustable 6000 to 10,000 rpm for amazingly fast finishing. The 3mm stroke length of the 5″ sander excels at putting the final finish on workpieces.

All current 5″ abrasives will fit the ETS EC 5″ sander, and it integrates seamlessly into Festools existing 27mm diameter hoses, and plug-it cord system so you can take advantage of the improvements of the ETS EC line without needing to double up on accessories and extras. Festool ETS EC sanders deliver the performance and light weight of air powered systems without the expense and floor space requirements of a compressor and air hoses. That makes them easier to take to a job site, and more cost effective to set up and run.
