Veneer Roller

We bought these veneer rollers as a special order for a veneering class. The enthusiastic consensus of the teacher and students was that this was a heavy and solid tool that worked very well, so we are pleased to carry it. The roller is used for sealing glue joints and flattening veneer and inlays to a substrate. If you use hide glue, the steel roller will conduct heat way from the veneer, so as you squeeze down, the glue will set. The 1 5/8″ wide steel roller weighs about 14 ounces and moves freely even under tremendous pressure. The axle protrudes on only one side, allowing you to put pressure right up into the corners of your work. Made in Taiwan.
